About this Opportunity:
As a Fixed Income Trader, you will be responsible for executing all day-to-day trading functions within Fixed Income Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs). This includes handling buy/sell transactions across treasuries, municipal bonds, and corporate bonds. The trader will also contribute to recurring and ad-hoc reporting, client communications, and special projects, ensuring optimal portfolio performance and alignment with client needs. Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Provo, UT

In this role, you'll get to:
Execute trades and manage all aspects of Fixed Income SMAs, including new portfolio investments, reinvesting cash from coupon payments and maturities, and handling special client requests
Communicate with clients regarding withdrawals, investment needs, and portfolio performance
Document all transactions and coordinate settlements with custodians and brokers
Produce and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for the Fixed Income Committee and clients
Maintain thorough documentation of all work processes and suggest improvements where applicable
Ensure strict compliance with all industry regulations and client-specific guidelines
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients, providing support across business functions as needed
Cross-train and adapt to meet evolving business needs
We're looking for talent who:
Basic understanding of fixed income portfolio metrics, including yield, duration, and convexity
Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as Excel and Bloomberg
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to handle urgent tasks and shifting priorities
Has a Series 65 License (or ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment)
Has a minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field
Has less than 1 year of experience
Obtains Orion Industry Certification
Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and work effectively with people at all levels in an organization

Salary Range:
$25.79 - $37.87The pay listed in this posting indicates the estimated pay at the time of this posting; however, may vary depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
