About this Opportunity:
As a Principal Product Manager for the Denali Data Platform, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, roadmap, and scaled adoption of Orions enterprise data platform. This role serves as the deep subject-matter expert on Denaliits architecture, capabilities, integrations, and long-term evolutionand partners closely with AI Engineering, Data, Reporting, and Product teams to ensure the platform is positioned to support AI-driven experiences and enterprise growth.
This role is highly strategic and technical in nature, focused on platform maturity, data governance, scalability, and enablement rather than sprint-level execution. The Principal Product Manager defines what we build and why, ensuring Denali delivers measurable business value across Orion. In this role, youll get to:
Own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the Denali Data Platform.
Serve as the primary product SME for Denali, including architecture, core capabilities, integrations, and future-state design.
Partner with AI Engineering, Data Platform, Reporting, and Product leadership to shape Denalis technical and product direction.
Define success metrics and measure platform adoption, scalability, and business impact.
Lead the product workstream for Data Catalog readiness in support of Denali AI.
Define and implement standards for metadata, governance, lineage, and data discoverability to enable AI-driven use cases at scale.
Ensure the platforms data foundations support responsible, secure, and high-quality AI consumption.
Define and execute a strategy to scale Denalis technical configuration, reducing manual effort and increasing automation where appropriate.
Drive self-service capabilities that enable teams to onboard, configure, and use the platform efficiently.
Ensure the platform can support rapid growth in users, data volume, and use cases across Orion.
Collaborate with delivery teams to translate platform strategy into prioritized initiatives and outcomes.
Partner with Engineering on trade-offs, sequencing, and architectural decisions.
Work with Security, Compliance, and Risk partners to align platform governance with enterprise standards.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on data platform strategy and investment decisions.
Conduct internal stakeholder research and assess industry trends related to data platforms, AI enablement, and analytics.
Identify opportunities to evolve Denali based on business needs, technical gaps, and competitive landscape.
Inform ROI analysis and business cases for major platform investments.
Create and maintain high-level platform documentation (e.g., platform vision, capability maps, architectural principles, governance standards).
Clearly communicate roadmap, priorities, and platform updates to executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
Build alignment and accountability across teams through clarity of direction and decision-making.
Were looking for talent who:
Has a minimum of a Bachelors degree as required
Has a minimum of seven (7) years of experience as required
Sets and communicates product strategy at the platform and enterprise level
Has strong technical fluency with data platforms, data architecture, and AI-adjacent concepts
Influences and leads across multiple teams without direct authority
Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systems-level mindset
Balances strategic thinking with pragmatic execution
Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level storytelling
Manages ambiguity and drive clarity in complex technical environments
Has strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Owns and manages relationships with stakeholders directly and works effectively with people at all levels in an organization
