Job Summary

In response to the exciting growth within the Associations, we are adding an HR Generalist who will support various functions including employee relations, HR compliance, policies and procedures, workforce planning and talent management, and manage leave and accommodations administration. The successful candidate will have a passion for focusing on the teammate experience, is solutions orientation and know how to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices and compliance including leave management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

General HR Support:

  • Analyzes trends and recommends solutions to address HR related issues and needs.
  • Maintains HR programs and procedures as assigned.
  • Provide support for employee relations and disciplinary processes
  • Support FTE budgeting process, job description creation and workflow, and organizational design related work.

Leave & Accommodations Coordination:

  • Provide administrative oversight and coordination for all leave of absence and accommodations programs
  • Analyze leave claims or requests, determine employee eligibility for leave and FMLA, and manage employee return to service or separation.
  • Provide support for the Reasonable Accommodation process and ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

HR Compliance Coordination:

  • Monitor and ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. Support the development, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure sound employee records management, confidentiality and accuracy in HR documentation.

Education Requirements

  • Preferred, 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • PHR or SHRM-CP Certification Preferred

Years of Experience

  • 2+ years of experience inHuman Resources generalist or related HR experience, ideally including employment related compliance and/or leave administration experience.
