POSITION 
Fitness Trainee, Madonna Wellness Club


RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Fitness Trainee serves members and guests through fitness assessments, consultations, development of exercise programming, conducts personal training, instructs on the safe and proper use of exercise equipment, conducts health coaching sessions and follows up after initial offerings.
• Analyzes and interprets clientsâ?? health status and recommends exercise programs.
• May assist instructing group fitness classes and/or cardiac rehab lab sessions.
• Responsible for facility coverage as needed.
• Work will be performed in an ethical and legal manner following organizational policies, processes, protocols and procedures.
• Responsible for quality service delivery and internal/external customer relations for Madonna as a whole, including upholding the mission and values for the department and facility.

  EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Four year academic degree in a health related pre-professional or professional course of study in a specialized curriculum preferred.
• Six months experience in the area of fitness, athletic training or rehabilitation required.
• Certified Pilates Reformer Instructor required.
• Must be CPR/AED certified within 30 days of hire date.
• Must exhibit exceptional discretion, judgment and customer service skills.
