POSITION 
Patient Transport Driver, day shift, 40 hours per week, on-call for evening and weekends expected

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the safe transportation of customers to and from Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital and the community to meet their various health care needs.
• Duties include:  driving, escorting clients to and from the vehicle, and preventive maintenance/care of vehicle.
• Work will be performed in an ethical and legal manner following organizational policies, processes, protocols and procedures.
• Responsible for quality service delivery and internal/external customer relations for Madonna as a whole, including upholding the mission and values for the department and facility.

  EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months driving experience preferred.  (Experience is defined as having driven a vehicle larger than a car or mini van to transport people on a schedule.)
• 6 months working with people in a health care environment preferred.
• Requires current Module C CPR certification within 1 month of hire.
• Must have valid Nebraska driver's license and proof of good driving record to meet insurance requirements.
