Description

We are seeking a Full-Time Platting Technician in our Omaha office. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and proactive problem solver with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, key members of the company, and external customers. This candidate would be expected to be detail-oriented, adaptable, and resourceful. Additionally, this candidate will:

Create designs independently under broad direction from the project supervisor on various design Projects using a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Collaborate with internal individuals & teams to ensure comments from reviewing agencies are addressed in a timely matter.
Work within a dynamic, team-focused environment, demonstrate a willingness to be flexible, collaborate with others, problem solve, and perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
Five years of experience in Technical Drafting utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment subject to specific deadlines that must be met, while verifying the accuracy of own and others’ work while maintaining professionalism
Demonstrated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple teams, multiple projects, and multiple deadlines simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certificate and/or associate degree in Drafting Technology, Land Surveying, or related
Ten years of experience in Technical Drafting
Experience with Land Survey, Survey or Civil Technical Drafting
