POSITION SUMMARY: 

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Project Manager to lead and manage multiple complex projects in parallel. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record of successfully delivering projects within scope, budget, and timeline, even in dynamic and demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of projects, ranging from daily operational tasks to large-scale strategic initiatives including those requiring strong leadership to drive envisioning, brainstorming, and alignment among diverse stakeholders..
  • Drive projects forward with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, identifying and navigating roadblocks to ensure timely and efficient execution.
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail while simultaneously maintaining a strategic perspective, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability by setting clear expectations, tracking progress meticulously, and holding team members and stakeholders responsible for deliverables.
  • Champion a streamlined and efficient approach to project management, identifying and implementing process improvements to maximize productivity.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical resources, stakeholders, and business leaders, to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment on an ongoing basis
  • Support and lead the development of business requirements for new projects, shaping project scope, priorities, and objectives

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Project Management:

  • Manage end-to-end IT projects, from initiation through implementation and post-implementation support.
  • Ensure successful project delivery within scope, timeline, and budget while meeting quality standards.
  •  Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and key milestones
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including work breakdown structures, timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of IPG Commercial Analytics solutions, ensuring that reporting capabilities meet business needs.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify reporting requirements and translate them into actionable BI reports and dashboards.
  • Ensure data accuracy and availability for reports by working with data architects, analysts, and developers.

Client Master Data Transformation:

  • Analyze the master data structure for the key IPG clients and propose changes to fulfill the analytics and reporting requirements made by the business stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Master Data Management, Data Stewardship, and SAP teams to implement the changes to the customer master data structure.
  • Elaborate playbooks and taxonomies to be followed by IPG agency representatives responsible for provisioning new customer master data across the SAP GL systems and Hyperion finance consolidation application.
  • Coordinate and train IPG agency representatives about the customer master data taxonomies to be followed for key IPG clients.
  • Coordinate the impact of the customer master data structure changes on the downstream IPG Commercial solutions.

Data Quality Operations:

  • Implement and enforce customer master data quality to ensure the data follows the taxonomy established for the key IPG clients.
  • Monitor new customer master data created across the SAP GL systems, identify anomalies concerning the taxonomies defined per each key IPG client, and drive fixing the issues.
  • Manage the relationship with IPG s client operations group to obtain input on the ongoing data quality of the customer's master data created in the SAP GL systems and Hyperion finance consolidation application.
  • Manage a team of data analysts responsible for monitoring and remediating data quality issues across the entire dataset.

IPG Commercial Solutions Ownership:

  • Oversee the development, enhancement, and support of applications related to IPG Commercial business functions.
  • Coordinate with development teams to ensure alignment with business requirements and IPG IT data architecture.
  • Provide ongoing application support, administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Implement process improvements and optimization strategies for the IPG Commercial applications.
  • Manage end-user communication, adoption, and training efforts.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and management of expectations.
  • Facilitate regular project status updates, steering committee meetings, and issue resolution sessions with stakeholders and sponsors.
  • Build strong relationships with business units, vendors, and IT teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.

Risk Management & Issue Resolution:

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, escalating critical issues as necessary.
  • Develop contingency plans to manage project risks and ensure minimal impact on project outcomes.
  • Lead post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for process improvement.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in business, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, preferably within analytics, data management, and master data operations.
  • Strong understanding of business intelligence models, and data governance practices.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external vendors.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., SmartSheet, JIRA, MS Project).
  • PMP or other relevant certification is preferred.

  • Leadership: Ability to manage teams, guide data management efforts, and handle client relationships.
  • Detail-Oriented: Ensure projects are executed within the defined scope, on time, and within budget.
  • Analytical Thinking: Solve complex problems, especially those related to analytics, dashboards, and system integration.
  • Adaptability: Capable of managing both ongoing support tasks and project-based implementations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise effectively with external vendors, internal teams, and senior leadership.

Work Conditions

  • Full-time, hybrid work environment.
  • Occasional travel for client meetings and project-related tasks.

SALARY RANGE:

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee s/applicant s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
