POSITION SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Technician III role is responsible for leading and planning the inspection, installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintaining of manufacturing equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This position is responsible for following advanced and complex specifications, reading prints, manuals, and schematic drawings, using hand tools, power tools, cranes, hoists, and measuring and testing instruments. The Maintenance Technician III will build and modify equipment as needed, while partnering with other team members to deliver maintenance solutions for the assigned plant. This role may provide training to other team members as required.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Associate degree or certification in a maintenance related field, or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience maintaining equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment, if degreed/certified; minimum of 7 years of experience if non-degreed/non-certified.
Required Skills
·    Intermediate PC skills.
·    Advanced working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
·    Ability to observe, listen and analyze operating machines.
·    Welding and fabrication experience.
·    Is already or willing to become Flash Arc certified within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Skills
·    HVAC knowledge.
·    PLC programming/troubleshooting.
·    Electrical system troubleshooting.
