Required Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: | Knowledge of scheduling health care services. Ability to utilize clinical scheduling software. Strong communication skills necessary. Ability to communicate with people in a supportive capacity, and must be able to identify & triage health care needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Strong customer focus skills essential. Must be able to interface in a professional manner with individuals at all levels. Excellent telephone etiquette required. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to work independently and to prioritize workload and set deadlines Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology. Familiarity with medical billing such as CPT , HCPCS, ICD10 coding. Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Third Party Insurance billing protocols and pre-authorization guidelines. Ability to remain calm and supportive and handle confidential matters discreetly. |
