About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Project Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and maintaining investor relationships, as well as structuring a variety of renewable energy transactions. This includes back leverage, cash equity, tax equity, and other financing opportunities. The role demands a leader with a strong background in renewable energy finance, particularly within the US renewables industry, and a proven track record in structuring, negotiating, and closing various financial deals. The VP will also be responsible for managing a team, overseeing project finance projections, and supporting the company's broader financial planning and analysis efforts. Applicants for the VP, Project Finance position at the company should have 8-10 years' of experience in a relevant financial role, with a focus on power, energy, or utilities. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for candidates holding an MBA or Master's degree. The ideal candidate will have existing relationships with project finance and tax equity professionals, as well as a strong understanding of solar and storage renewable energy systems. Key qualifications include financial modeling capabilities, strong organizational and people skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities. The role also requires a candidate with strong executive-level communication and presentation skills, and a proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team.
