About the Role

The Company is in search of a VP of Finance/Controller to take the lead in its financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording and accounting of all financial transactions. This role involves overseeing the company's banking relationships, improving cash flow forecasting, and actively participating in FP&A activities such as budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and benchmarking financial performance. The VP of Finance/Controller will also be tasked with monitoring and analyzing monthly operating results, providing financial reporting to various stakeholders, and enhancing the company's accounting and reporting systems to support management decision-making. Applicants for the VP of Finance/Controller position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in accounting and finance, with a preference for those who have worked in a manufacturing environment. A strong working knowledge of budgeting and forecasting is essential. The role requires a team player with high energy, capable of leading a team of accountants and bookkeepers. Experience with the Great Plains is a plus. The ideal candidate will be a proactive professional, able to contribute meaningfully to the company's financial strategy and growth.
