About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer (CDO), Vice President to be a strategic leader and advisor in fostering a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive DEIB strategy that aligns with the company's mission and business objectives. This role involves serving as a key advisor to the executive team and the Board on DEIB matters, establishing and leading a DEI council, and designing and implementing effective DEIB programs and practices. The CDO will also be tasked with measuring and analyzing the impact of DEIB initiatives, championing a culture of inclusion, and building external partnerships to enhance the company's reputation as a leader in diversity and inclusion. Applicants for the CDO position at the company should have a proven track record of at least 10 years in DEIB leadership roles, with a strong understanding of DEIB principles and their application in a corporate environment. The role requires exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization. A strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, the ideal candidate will have experience in a global or multi-cultural environment and be adept at working with diverse teams. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, and an advanced degree is a plus. The CDO will also be responsible for budget and fiscal management, so experience in this area is essential.
