About the Role

The Company is seeking a Founding Dean for its online and professional education initiatives. This role involves building and leading a team to develop a robust portfolio of programs, cultivating strategic partnerships with external organizations, and providing institutional leadership in the areas of online, professional, and continuing education. The Dean will also be expected to lead the new business unit, overseeing the launch of new degree and certificate programs, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, market-responsive educational experiences. Professional qualifications for the Founding Dean include a deep understanding of professional education, a master's or doctoral degree, and significant experience in the operational and administrative aspects of online education. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing change, be adept at budgeting, marketing, and enrollment management, and have the ability to build and lead cross-functional teams. Collaborative leadership skills are essential, as is the capacity to inspire engagement and build partnerships that advance the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and access in education. The Dean will be a key figure in the company's mission to prepare students to be leaders and changemakers, with a strong emphasis on applied, experiential learning that meets the needs of a diverse and evolving society.
