About the Role

The Company is seeking a General Counsel to join its team. Candidates for the General Counsel position at the company should have a Juris Doctor degree and a minimum of 10 years' legal experience, with a preference for those with a background in the non-profit or healthcare sector. The role requires a leader with a strong health law background, adept problem-solving skills, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships. The General Counsel will be expected to be a visible and credible leader, with high integrity and a commitment to the mission of the organization. Responsibilities also include risk management, employee relations, and special projects, making it important for the candidate to have a comprehensive understanding of legal issues and the ability to provide strategic legal advice to the executive team.
