About the Role
The Company is seeking a Regional Vice President (RVP) to join their team. The RVP will be tasked with the creation of new and the management of existing relationships with broker/dealer advisors to enhance sales within the designated territory. This role involves a range of activities, including but not limited to, conducting meetings, seminars, and campaigns, as well as providing essential follow-up. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Sales to develop and execute a business plan that maximizes territorial sales, identify and nurture top-producing advisors, and stay abreast of the company's product and service enhancements to keep advisors informed. Applicants for the RVP position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 3 years' sales experience in investments, mutual funds, insurance, or annuities. A strong background in marketing these financial products to advisors is essential, as is the ability to deliver effective presentations and training. The role requires a proactive individual with a proven track record in growing a sales territory, a strong aptitude for technology, and the ability to travel extensively. The RVP will be expected to meet activity requirements and hold relevant industry licenses, including Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 6 or 7, FINRA Series 63, and a State Insurance License. Prior experience in annuity or investment external wholesaling is preferred.
