About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Community Engagement and Continuing Education. The successful candidate will be a key leader in the company's outward-facing community programs and initiatives, responsible for representing the company in local and regional workgroups to ensure effective partnerships that meet community needs. This role involves providing strategic direction for various educational programs, including corporate, community, and adult education, and maintaining strong relationships with local government, business, and industry partners. The Executive Director will also oversee the Center for Innovation and Economic Development, managing its facilities and activities to support business incubation and entrepreneurship. Applicants must have a master's degree or a relevant terminal academic degree, with a minimum of 4 years experience in an educational institution or community program setting. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in leading large community outreach and engagement initiatives, as well as prior supervisory experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in business management, entrepreneurship, and a strong understanding of the needs of the local workforce. General knowledge, skills, and abilities should include the ability to work in a multicultural environment, adaptability to change, excellent communication, critical thinking, and a strong focus on customer service and ethics. The Executive Director will be expected to demonstrate results orientation, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
