Overview GovCIO is currently hiring for a Systems Administrator to design, implement, and maintain the OS environments for the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) IT Infrastructure Support Services (ITIS). This position will be located in DC and will be an onsite position. This position is contingent upon award.
Responsibilities Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining the OS environments for Federal agencies. Skillsets include OS performance, reliability, and security by configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing systems. Ability to manage Windows and Linux OSs and conduct system updates, patches, and user permissions, as well as supporting automation of system tasks through scripting. Ability to collaborate with other IT teams to integrate OS components with application software, ensuring seamless operation and addressing technical issues as they arise, and development of SOPs for operational tasks.
Qualifications Required: 5-7 years' experience. Bachelor's degree in IT or related field. Current ITIL Foundation and/or Practitioner v.4 certifications.
Desired: Current DevSecOps FoundationSM certification from the DevOps Institute.

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Posted Salary Range USD $115,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr.
